Raced outside leader, moved to lead at the 250m, joined by challenger at the 100m but dug deep in concluding stages to win narrowly.
2着SURREALISM　　L Ferraris　　(B)

Raced on leaders back, moved over leaders heels soon after straightening, dashed up to share lead at 100m, tried hard but couldn't get past the leader, just beaten.
3着KYRUS UNICORN　　L Hewitson　　(V-/BO1)

Raced midfield on rail, held up momentarily on straightening before shifting over heels at the 300m & closing strongly in final furlong to move to third inside final 50m.

4着BRIGHT KID　　M Chadwick　　(B/XB)

Slow 1L at start before racing third last along the rail in middle stages. Relegated to second last near half-way, shifted outwards after straightening before making strong late ground in final stages to be beaten under 1L.
5着GOLDEN SPECTRUM　　C Y Ho　　(B/H/TT)

Raced in midfield away from the rail throughout. Was hard ridden near the 500m mark before closing off steadily all the way to the line to be only beaten 2L. Better.
6着PASSING FASHION　　A Badel　　(XB/TT)

Pushed forward to lead. Headed by winner at 250m, battled on well, still third at 100m mark before weakening in final 50m to be beaten 2L on line.
7着MURRAY'S PARTNERS　　H Bentley　　(V)

Didn't begin fast, was shifted to the rail & raced in midfield. Stayed along the rail on straightening before finishing off only steadily nearer to the inside to be beaten 3L into midfield.
8着VICTORIOUS SEEKER　　C Wong　　(B)

Raced worse than midfield between runners. Moved wider on the track passing the 500m mark when continuing near the tail, finished off one paced down the outside to be only 3.5L behind but was never a real threat.
9着CHATER PINS　　V Borges　　(SR)

Steadied after the start but was trapped racing three wide no cover for the majority. Was 4L behind just before straightening before going little in the straight & being beaten a similar margin onto ninth.
10着SUPERB DADDY　　H T Mo　　(TT)

Steadied & taken back to race at the tail. Continued a clear last before shifting very wide passing the 450m mark, was extremely wide on cornering when a long way back & never got into race in straight.
11着LEGION OF MERIT　　M F Poon　　(B/TT)

Didn't begin fast before making up some ground to race 1,1. Bumped on straightening before emptying out & weakening in final furlong to be well beaten.
12着WINNING VOLATILITY　　J Moreira　　(PC)

Got back & raced second last away from rail after start. Moved into the three wide line but with cover down back straight. Shifted wider passing 500m, second widest on straightening before weakening to last.
