Strode forward before being crossed, racing on leaders back from the 900m. Moved wider in straight, sprinted up in a line of 4 at the 100m before proving too tough in closing stages.
2着THANKS FOREVER　　Z Purton　　(CP)

Last into stride before racing at the tail. Moved the widest runner on straightening before making solid headway to snare second in closing stages. Good from rear against sit/sprint shape.

3着MR STUNNING　　K Teetan

Began well before steadying to get nice position in forth away from rail. Ridden along from on straightening before digging deep to join a line of four at the 100m & box on bravely in late stages. Narrowly beaten.
4着VOYAGE WARRIOR　　M Chadwick

Strode forward to race second, improved to outside the leader from the 600m. Dashed to narrow lead at the 300m, joined in a line of 4 at the 100m before headed late. Finished on same line as place-getters.
5着BIG PARTY　　G van Niekerk

Not the fastest to begin, settled on the rail with two runners behind. Shifted outwards at the 400m, moved up within a neck at the 150m before peaking late. Close behind.

6着FULL OF BEAUTY　　C Schofield

Raced second from last on rail, eased away from rail passing the 850m. Eased wider on straightening before finishing off nicely against race shape, not be beaten far despite beating only one home.

7着COUNTRY STAR　　K H Chan

Pushed forward, crossed to rail when leading at the 900m. Steadied speed in middle section. Headed in the lead near the 300m before yielding a length or two late. Not beaten far in last place.
