Out quickly but eased, settling midfield in one-off position. Began forward move 700m racing three-wide into straight. Pushed through gap 350m, hit front 180m, pulled clear.
2着BIG FOUR　　D Lane　　(H)

Shifted across behind horses from wide draw, settling last along fence. Made good progress around turn, found spilt between horses top of straight and ran on strongly till steadied 100m and shifted out.
3着ENORMOUS HONOUR　　B Prebble

Not much early speed, racing behind midfield in one-off position. Lost position around turn, taken wide into straight, ran on steadily to snatch third placing.
4着THE SHOW　　M L Yeung

Began well, leading field to 1200m before easing back between first two. Urged forward soon after straightening, joined 300m out but kept on well till swamped final 100m.
5着REAL SUPREME　　K C Ng　　(B/TT)

Pressed forward from outside draw, racing five wide to 1000m before sitting three-wide outside leader around turn. Joint leader to 200m before running out of steam and tiring.
6着ALL WIN BOY　　A Suborics　　(H/TT)

No early pace, gradually drifting to fence three back from leader. Improved position around turn, took inside track in straight but held for clear run till 200m. Kept on fairly.
7着LAUGH OUT LOUD　　K C Leung　　(B)

Began only fairly but quickly made up ground along rail to snatch box seat before turn. Held for run until passing 200m when boxed on one-paced despite being hard ridden.
8着AMBER DRAGON　　M Chadwick　　(TT)

Began well but not pressured, easing three-back, one-off. Took turn a little wide but kept on steadily in straight without looking dangerous.
9着ANIMATION MASTER　　C K Tong　　(TT)

No speed, racing between horses at rear. Lost position around turn and plodded on one-paced in straight.
10着CITRON SPIRIT　　C Y Ho　　(H1)

Shifted across behind runners from wide draw, settling close to fence towards the rear. no clear run on entering straight but only one-paced when clear.
11着BOSSIEE　　N Callan　　(TT)

Aggressively ridden early to stay with pacemakers but wide. Failed to settle and hung out turn losing ground. Bumped 400m and weakened gradually. Performance deemed unacceptable.
12着FIVE UP HIGH　　N Rawiller　　(E)

Began well, holding position one-back, one-off to 700m when racing on heels and shifted wide. Put under pressure soon after straightening but weakened. Had substantial amount of blood in trachea. Unacceptable performance.
13着WILD BOY　　Z Purton　　(B)

Began well, racing with leading pack before taking lead passing 1200m. Put under pressure by outside horse but led till 400m when collared. Weakened quickly. Stewards ruled performance unacceptable.

No speed, settling at rear but wide. Clear last entering turn. Never competitive.
