Taken back gradually across runners but stayed away from fence. Second-last turn, peeled out widest 400m, ran on strongly under hands and heels final 200m.
2着APPROVE　　W C Marwing　　(B)

Began awkwardly but recovered and kicked up inside leader to take box seat back stretch. Came off fence 350m, hit front 250m, run down closing stages.
3着SUPREME ESSENCE　　O Doleuze　　(H/TT)

Bumped start, slipped back to behind midfield but away from fence. Caught 3-wide when pace slackened, turned wide, kept on well in straight.
4着AMAZINGLY　　D Whyte　　(SR)

Began fairly, taken to fence behind midfield. Found little room entering straight, checked 300m and shifted in to find clear passage, kept on steadily when clear.
5着ELEGANCE KLAMMER　　M Chadwick　　(TT)

Began well but held in midfield away from fence. Caught 3-wide back stretch when pace slacked and rolled forward to test leader. Kept on one-paced in straight.
6着SUPREME FLIGHT　　K Teetan　　(TT)

Began well, kicked up inside leaders to first turn before selling 2-back, the rail. No clear run entering straight, shifted in 200m, kept on steadily when clear.
7着BULLISH BOY　　K C Ng　　(TT)

Used early to get to the front from wide draw. Slowed pace back stretch, put under pressure at turn, kicked entering straight, flattened final 100m.
8着FLYING ELITE　　T H So　　(B)

Taken forward but started to over-race when pace slacked. Responded briefly to rider's urging 500m but only one-paced final 300m.

Guided to a 2-wide position not far off the race, raced without cover until 600M, had not much to offer turning in, soon out of contention.
