Began well enough from draw 1, maintained a midfield position along the inside, had difficulty obtaining clear running 300M before quickening up nicely to hit the front 100M. Held on well late stages.
2着FIRST LOVE　　Z Purton　　(TT1)

Reserved in midfield 5-6Ls off the pace, still a fair way off leader top of straight, finished off strongly down the outside to just go under.
3着ALL RICHES　　K C Leung　　(V)

Went forward as expected, vied for lead on the inside, kept on well passing 400M and led them until 100M. No match for first 2 late stages.
4着STRATHPEFFER　　M Chadwick　　(B)

Never far off in the group chasing leaders, driven 450M and closed off steadily. Comfortably held by first three final stages. (Jockey : instructed to ride positively to capitalize the horse' s light weight.)
5着BEER PALACE　　L Ferraris　　(B-/P1/TT-)

Not hurried early stages, settled down behind midfield, had some work to do passing 400M, did best work late got up for 5th near line.
6着HIGHLAND RAHY　　L Hewitson　　(CP/TT)

Chased leaders in 3rd, loomed top of the straight, had his chance but couldn't sustain run passing 200M, faded towards the finish.
7着BALLISTIC WIN　　B Thompson

Settled ahead of midfield, swung wide for home but lacked a strong finish, held by rivals final 200M.

Never far off from the pace, moved closer to leaders home turn, held up for clear running from 400M to 250M but the finishing effort was only fair closing stages.

Away with them, held up behind mid-division along the inside, failed to pick up when asked on straightening. Never a threat to leaders.

Vied for lead on the outside, couldn't keep up passing 350M, soon went backwards.

Slow to begin, ended up in last further back than intended, had big task in hand 400M, ran past beaten horses only. Never in the picture. (Trainer confirmed the instructions were to take up a forward position.)

Drifted back to a rearward position, plenty to make up top of straight but failed to respond to riding. (Jockey reported his mount was coughing subsequent to the race / Bled.)
13着CALIFORNIA DEEPLY　　Y L Chung　　(CP/TT)

Jumped on terms from a middle draw, caught racing wide no cover in midfield from 900M, couldn't sprint enough entering home straight. Never a factor. (Jockey : didn't appreciate Yielding track conditions.)

From wide draw taken back to near last, struggled to keep up 600M, soon out of contention and finished tailed out (Unacceptable Performance.)
