Began from a wide gate, settled in 4th some 2L off the distant 2nd in the brisk middle stages, commenced move rounding home bend, ran on from 3.5L back into straight to assert authority over 150 metres out.
2着PING HAI TREASURE　　J Moreira　　(P)

Ridden forward early, settled in distant 2nd from tear-away leader in back straight, closer to the pace when leader dropped back to the main field, commenced move 500 metres out, hit the front briefly 250 metres out, no extra.
3着HONGKONG GREAT　　A Hamelin　　(B/TT)

Soon led, went clear of the main field setting a fast pace on the first bend going nearly 7L ahead in back straight, dropped back to the main field on home bend and headed under pressure 250 metres out. (Tactic questioned).

Recovered quickly from very awkward start, settled 1L off the distant 2nd becoming over 3L behind the same horse on home bend, came to challenge under pressure entering home straight but unable to quicken to threaten.

Settled mainly in midfield, lost position under pressure into home straight, made up some late ground.
