Quickly into stride. Took seat behind leaders from 800M. Ideal position to strike in the straight. Battled determinedly to prevail near the post.
2着TRACK LIGHTNING　　T Angland　　(B/H1)

Pressed early but trapped wide first turn. Parked 2-wide outside leader from the Rock. Every chance in the straight and ran on strongly. Just failed to repel the winner close home.
3着CHATER POWER　　C Y Ho　　(B/TT)

In leading section on fence to home straight. Kept on well but lacked the finishing touch of the front pair final stages.
4着LUCKY RECORD　　M L Yeung　　(TT)

Slow to begin. Improved gradually along the fence and reached midfield at the Rock. Shifted out and found clear run 300M. Finished off the race satisfactorily.
5着SMART CHOICE　　H W Lai　　(B/TT)

Taken to 2-wide at rear. Swung wide and was 7Ls down on straightening. Covered good ground home straight.

Towards rear on fence to home straight. Made steady headway to the line.

Hard ridden early but failed to muster. Travelled wide and without cover in midfield back straight. Progressed to 3-wide behind leaders home turn but couldn't sustain final 200M.

2-wide towards rear to home straight. Made up minor ground late.

Ahead of midfield on fence to home straight. Couldn't turn up a notch when the race got serious and weakened final 100M.

2-wide ahead of midfield early and middle stages. Switched 5-wide turning into home. Failed to respond when asked.

Shaken up early but insufficient speed to cross. Ended up 3-wide without cover at midfield back straight. Never progressed from there.

2-wide at midfield early. Severely checked to behind midfield from 1000M. Similar position home turn. Ran on fairly top of home straight. Got traffic inside 150M.
