2-wide at midfield early. Improved gradually home turn and was 3Ls down turning in. Rallied on in the straight and asserted authority closing stages.

Towards rear on fence until switching out for clear run rounding home turn. 6Ls away passing 350M. Covered substantial ground to figure in quinella at the line.
3着FREE AND EASY　　H W Lai　　(B)

Led on fence until overhauled by the strong finishing front pair final strides.

Began well but caught wide. Took box seat from first turn. Ideal position to strike in the straight. Plugged on without threatening the front trio.

One-off behind leader early and middle stages. Hard ridden approaching home straight but couldn’t turn up a notch.

Ahead of midfield on fence early. Shuffled to behind midfield passing 800M. Same position leaving the bend. Made up minor ground late.

Eased to rear after start. Progressed briefly at bend but failed to sustain effort in the straight.
