Began well, racing with leaders but wide before eased back to midfield with cover 1500m. Pressed forward from 400m, joint-leader 100m, just made it after nose-to-nose finish.
2着LOTUS STRIKES BACK　　J Moreira　　(B)

Began fairly, pressed forward to hold one-off position three-back from leader. Improved position 1200m, swung wide into straight, hit front 300m, battled gamely only to be nosed out.
3着HO HO FEEL　　D Whyte　　(H/XB)

Restrained on jumping, shifted across behind runners, settling four-back, one-off. Improved position around turn, taken to centre track in straight and finished off nicely.
4着SUPER SILKS　　M Chadwick　　(P/TT)

Ridden forward to settle behind leader in one-off position. Got cover passing 1100m, rolled forward entering straight, hit front 350m, battled gamely until flattened 50m.
5着FORTUNE GIGGLES　　K C Leung　　(B)

Got off OK, not pushed, settling in midfield in one-off position. Hampered 1400m, taken to rail four-back from leader. Kept on fairly in straight under hard riding.
6着CASH COURIER　　O Doleuze　　(B)

Began fairly, made up ground along rail, steadied 1400m, settling 3-back before turn. Switched out entering straight and boxed on fairly.
7着IMPERIAL GALLANTRY　　N Callan　　(B/H/TT)

Hard ridden to lead on settling. Passed by another passing 1200m but retook lead 800m. Kept on early in straight while laying away from rail before tiring final 200m.

Shifted in behind runners shortly after start, settling at rear in one-off position. Made up some ground around turn, wide in straight, boxed on one-paced.

Bumped shortly after start, ridden while edging closer to rail at rear. Switched out entering straight but only one-paced.

Flat-footed at start, losing ground, and last on settling. Raced fiercely after being steadied 1300m, made up some ground around turn, one-paced in straight.

Restrained on jumping and shifted across behind runners but kept 3-wide at rear. In last pair around turn, found little in straight.

Ridden to hold forward position but held 4-wide on settling. Allowed to roll forward to race outside leader, led narrowly 1200m to 800m. Spent force on straightening and faded.

Shifted in shortly after start but unable to find cover behind midfield. Left without cover from 1200m and never likely thereafter.

Ridden along to hold box seat, bumped and unbalanced 1600m, travelled keenly, checked 1400m, lost position turn and finished tailed off. Unacceptable performance.
