Always prominent. Hit lead 200 M and kept on well to repel challengers.
2着LONGWAH RISING　　B Doyle

Sat within 3Ls of the pace in a 2-wide position through to the home straight. Couldn't quite get to the winner but snatched 2nd late.
3着NATIVE KID　　C W Wong　　(SW)

Slow to begin and was driven to race at midfield on fence approaching the Rock. Checked and lost ground at 600 M. 4Ls down on straightening and responded well along the rail to land 3rd.
4着YOUNG LABEL　　M L Yeung

Began well. Eased to sit 2-wide behind the leader. Every chance in the straight but couldn't contain the finishing effort of the front trio closing stages.
5着FLYING CHINA　　Y T Cheng　　(B)

Towards rear despite being ridden along. Checked severely at 600 M and dropped to last. 7Ls off turning in and ran strongly final 150 M. Nearest at finish.
7着BONDI LAD　　M Chadwick　　(H/TT)

Slowly away and was bumped after start. Raced 3-wide towards rear through to the home straight. Made up good ground wide.
8着KEEN SOUL　　M W Leung　　(B)

Never far off the pace but trapped 4-wide without cover until home turn. Shifted 3-wide and sat ahead of midfield at 450 M. No extra gear in the straight.

Travelled wide and without cover behind the speed until weakened shortly after home straight.

Pressed forward early and led on fence from the Rock until peaked 300 M.
