Overcame a wide draw and managed to slot into a 2-wide position in midfield, travelled nicely to bend and driven from 400 M, kept on strongly to lead entering 100 M and held off the 2nd comfortably.
2着REAL SPECIAL　　D Beadman　　(B)

Raced towards the rear and not hurried in early stages, progressed to midfield over the final turn, ran on well to go 2nd 100 M from home.
3着BILLION　　Y T Cheng

Well enough away, stalked leader one back before taking over near 550 M, looked the winner in early straight but had no answer to the winner final 100 M.
4着FLORAL NIRVANA　　Z Purton　　(SW/XB/TT)

Broke well then dropped back to 7th in mid-pack, 3-wide swinging for home, made steady headway final 300 M but offered little threat to the first two.
5着LHOJONG　　W C Marwing　　(B2)

Towards the rear along the inside fence, shuffled back to last approaching home turn, effort from 500 M, took a while to muster before finishing off the race strongly inside 200 M.
6着MAN IN THE MIRROR　　D Whyte

Patiently held up towards the back, crept closer passing the Rock and swung widest into straight, made even progress final 300 M but inclined to lay in and required corrective measures from the jockey.
7着SLEEP WELL　　O Doleuze　　(B/TT)

Switched off the back and settled over 10Ls behind leader, advanced 3-wide passing 700 M, stayed on without reaching leaders.
8着NEW CHAPTER　　K C Leung　　(B)

Held a midfield position and saved ground along the fence, 4Ls behind leader turning for home, steadied and had to shift ground near 150 M then finished off the race mildly. (Jockey reported his mount hanging in throughout the race.)
9着FORTUNE WINNER　　C K Tong

Made some use early to go forward, led from 1000 M to final turn, kept on till weakening final 200 M.
10着SKY WALKER　　J Victoire　　(SW)

Chased leaders on the fence, always in touch, outpaced approaching the home straight and didn't respond to urging. (Bled 2nd time.)
11着ARION OF CHIU TON　　B Prebble

Went forward and placed handily in 3rd, under whip passing 500 M, not picked up and soon faded out of contention.
12着GREAT LUCK　　M Chadwick　　(TT1)

Settled behind midfield along the inside, outpaced making the final turn and shuffled back to last going into straight, soon beaten.
