Parked midfield the fence. Peeled out 3-deep approaching the final bend, hit the lead at the 100 M and managed to secure victory under aggressive riding.
2着TRAVEL GUIDE　　K C Leung　　(B/H)

Coursed wide early before joining the leader and traveling 1-off from about the 1100 M. Handed up and took a trailing position near the 600 M. Shifted out on the home turn and closed off well to come up just short.
3着NEW IDEA　　O Doleuze　　(SW)

Settled behind midfield after being crowded at the start, 2-deep with cover. Made good late ground from well off the leaders.
4着BABY WAVE　　K L Chui　　(B/SR)

Roughed up on jumping, settling behind midfield on the rail. Made good ground over the latter stages.
5着KEEP ME　　H W Lai　　(B)

Worked forward for most of the trip and was never really better than 3-wide without cover until assuming a 1-off position outside the leader near the 600 M. Kept on well in the run home.
6着SPLENDID CHAMPION　　M Chadwick　　(TT)

Badly crowded at the start settling on the rail at the tail of the field. Commenced to run on strongly however over the concluding stages ran into traffic problems and went to the wire untested.

Camped on the back of the leader along the paint. No excuses.

Raced 1-out-1-back for the greater part of the race. Was 3-back after the 600 M but found nothing in the run to the post.

Held the fence from the inside gate and dictated terms in front. Had every possible chance.

Hampered at the start settling at the rear, 1-off with cover. Failed to make any appreciable headway in the final stretch.
