Pressed forward from widest draw to lead passing 1500m before crossing to fence 1250m and slowing pace. Joined up front 1200m-800m, kicked clear 500m, kept finding when challenged final stages.
2着VICTORY BOYS　　B Prebble　　(H)

Restrained and taken in, settling towards rear in one-off position. Began forward move passing 500m, swung wide into straight, finished strongly to just fail.
3着ALLCASH　　S de Sousa　　(B/TT)

Began well, ridden to hold one-off position in midfield until steadied and dropping back 1100m. Shaken up from 400m, shifted out 250m to get run, finished off nicely.
4着EASY HEDGE　　J Moreira

Jumped well, ridden to find cover, crossing to fence in midfield passing 1200m. Switched out 350m but unable to get clear run until passing 200m. Finished off well.
5着RAZOR QUEST　　C Y Ho　　(H/TT)

First out, racing with pace till switched out 1300m, racing between horses 4L from leader. Began forward move 400m, kept on well until flattened final stages. Had cut inside left hind cannon.
6着HAPPY SPIRIT　　Z Purton　　(H/TT)

Jumped well, shared early pace before settling one-back, one-off back stretch. Made forward move passing 450m, kept on fairly to 200m, then one-paced.
7着LOTUS STRIKES BACK　　S Clipperton　　(B)

Restrained on jumping, shifted across behind runners and last on settling. Started forward move 600m, racing around field, widest into straight, kept on fairly without looking dangerous.
8着PREMIUM CHAMPION　　K Teetan　　(TT)

Began fairly, taken to rail, settling towards rear. Got shuffled back when field speeded up 500m, took inside run in straight but found little room and shifted out 200m but only one-paced.
9着UNIQUE HAPPIEST　　K K Chiong　　(H)

Began well, leading field to 1450m, but started to over-race when crossed 1300m. Held box seat to straight when gave ground gradually despite hard riding.
10着HOLMES LEGEND　　H N Wong　　(H)

Jumped OK, ridden to hold forward position but held 3-wide into first turn. Rolled forward from 1200m to sit outside leader to 500m when ran out of steam and faded.
11着HAPPY CONTENDER　　O Doleuze　　(H1)

Inconvenienced shortly after start, taken to rail but outpaced, dropping to rear. Left flat-footed 500m when field speeded up, swung wide into straight but found nothing under hard riding.
12着SEMPITERNAL　　H W Lai　　(V/TT)

Jumped OK, pressed forward but held 4-wide into first turn and back stretch 4L from leader. Started to give ground 600m and finished tailed out. Unacceptable performance. Had substantial amount of mucus in trachea.
