Had no early speed & raced rearward. Moved 4 wide with cover passing 800m, straightened 4L from the lead before closing strongly down the outside to steal lead in final 50m.
2着DAILY BEAUTY　　C Y Ho　　(B-/V2)

Had no early speed & raced 4th last. Made mid-race-move to sweep around the field & improve to be four wide without cover outside the leaders from 600m. Moved to narrow lead nearing 200m, over-power last 50m by winner.

3着SPEED FORCE　　H T Mo　　(B-)

Raced in midfield along the rail. Shuffled further back after 700m when runners improved out wide. Moved away from inside just before cornering, shifted wider again on straightening before making late ground down the outside.
4着ASIAN ONE　　Z Purton　　(PC-/XB/P1/TT)

Obtained a nice position 1,1 after the first bend. Raced tight between runners when moving three wide near 600m, continued to be awkwardly placed when only a length behind on straightening before finishing fairly late.
5着REGENCY GEM　　M Chadwick　　(V/TT)

Raced just worse than midfield between runners. Moved into three wide line with cover after 700m when improving to midfield, made steady late ground between runners in the straight to be beaten 3L.
6着BOYS PARTY　　L Hewitson

Raced in midfield away from the rail before making mid-race move from the 750m, improving to share the lead from the 500m. Continued to hold narrow lead until being joined by the runner-up just before the 200m, peaked late.
7着WAH MAY LUCK　　H Bentley　　(B/TT)

Dipped at start but recovered to race in midfield away from rail. Straightened just over 3L from lead when surrounded by runners before finishing off only one paced to be beaten just over 4L into midfield on line.

Was trapped racing three wide without cover in midfield for first half before getting some cover from 750m. Forced the widest runner when ridden to improve from 600m, very wide on straightening before weakening last furlong.

Raced in midfield along the rail before improving to race leaders back after first bend. Straightened just over a length form the lead but did little in the straight & weakened to be beaten over 8L.

Pushed forward to lead. Challenged & headed in lead passing the 1300m before regaining lead 1000m. Headed on straightening, battled on until the 250m before weakening out quickly in final stages.

11着BUDDY SPIRIT　　A Hamelin　　(B-/P1)

Drifted back at start, raced rearward before relegated to last near the 1200m. Continued near the tail & 5.5L from lead on straightening & never threatened in straight.
12着TURF BRILLIANT　　K C Leung　　(B)

Raced in midfield along the rail throughout. Stayed along the rail on straightening when just over 3L from the lead before weakening poorly in the straight to be well beaten into third last.

Slow to begin & consequently raced third last away from the rail. Relegated to second last near 1000m, moved wider on the track passing 600m, was very wide on cornering when 6.5L behind before weakening poorly in straight.
14着ENCORE　　H Bowman　　(TT)

Pushed forward to race prominent, improved to narrow lead passing 1300m when away from the rail before racing outside the leader from the 1000m mark. Began losing ground before straightening, weakened badly to long last.
