With the leaders on the rail, settled for one back position in 3rd coming onto home bend, hit the front under pressure over 50 metres out, won readily.

2着KURPANY　　A Badel　　(TT)

Crowded at start settling in rear, baulked for a run early in straight, finished off the race strongly inside the final 130 metres.
3着SAUL'S SPECIAL　　C L Chau　　(B/H)

Jumped well from the one draw, close up early before drifting back to forward of midfield in 6th just over 3L back, saved ground on the inside turning in, fought on steadily without threatening.

4着FABULOUS EIGHT　　V Borges　　(TT)

Persevered from the widest gate to be up with the pace, travelled just outside the leader rounding home bend, hit the front under pressure over 200 metres out, unable to sustain effort inside the final 50 metres after a hard run.

5着DIAMOND BRILLIANT　　A Hamelin　　(B/TT)

Close up early, gradually settled in 7th in midfield, met minor inconvenience coming onto home bend, became 6th into straight, minor interference 250 metres out, ran on under pressure to be nearest at finish.

6着HANDSOME BO BO　　B Shinn　　(TT)

Settled wide in rear from a wide gate travelling wide throughout, widest runner turn for home, ran on down the centre of the track to be nearest at finish.

7着WILD WEST WING　　K Teetan

Jumped fairly, ridden to gain narrow advantage 3-wide among a line of 6 horses, obtained rails run in the front coming onto home bend, led until headed upon straightening, folded up quickly inside the final 150 metres.

Jumped fairly gradually settling at the back, trailed the field most of the way to straight, saved ground turning for home, ran on in straight to be nearest at finish.

Ridden along to keep with the leaders, drifted back to 4th some 2L back coming onto home bend, weakened steadily after straightening.

Travelled wide amongst the leaders early from a wide gate, taken back to rear of midfield passing the 800 metres but remained wide rounding home bend, kept on steadily despite buffeted 200 metres out. (Tactic questioned)

Moderate start, improved steadily along the rail to 9th in rear of midfield while niggling along, saved ground turning in and ran home one-paced.

Jumped awkwardly, ridden to share early pace, gradually taken back to 5th passing the 800 metres but remained wide and further back rounding home bend, one-paced when hampered 200 metres out, never recovered.
