Persevered from the widest gate to be up with the pace, travelled just outside the leader rounding home bend, hit the front under pressure over 200 metres out, unable to sustain effort inside the final 50 metres after a hard run.

Close up early, gradually settled in 7th in midfield, met minor inconvenience coming onto home bend, became 6th into straight, minor interference 250 metres out, ran on under pressure to be nearest at finish.

Settled wide in rear from a wide gate travelling wide throughout, widest runner turn for home, ran on down the centre of the track to be nearest at finish.
