Broke well, gradually taken back to forward of midfield some 3L off on the rail, commenced move approaching home turn, quickened well to take charge 150 metres out, won readily.

Hampered early stages, settled in rear of midfield, shaken up making home turn, ran on under pressure to be nearest at finish. (Rider dropped rein closing stages)
3着PACKING DRAGON　　M F Poon　　(V)

Niggled along among leaders early, settled for 5th some 3L back before first bend, drifted back to midfield in 7th for cover in back straight, went very wide turning for home, ran on quite well under pressure without threatening.

Began from a middle gate, obtained one back position on the rail coming out of home straight, remained similar thereafter, kept on same pace without quickening in final stretch.

Worked steadily from the widest gate to take up running after the first 200 metres, steadied pace coming onto back straight, led until finding no extra 150 metres out.
