Was fairly away but then brushed and eased to last. Trailed field throughout and was last into the turn before pulling to middle of track and sprinting home over the top for narrow win.

2着POWERMAX　　Z Purton　　(B)

Jumped well and ridden up to hold prominent position behind leading pair. Travelled well in middle stages before joining lead in inside final 150m.
3着THOU SHALL SING　　K C Leung　　(H/P/TT)

Commenced quickly and maintained the rail position and lead. Quickened from 400m and broke clear inside 300m mark before overrun inside last 75m.
4着WALDORF　　K C Ng　　(B/TT)

Ridden hard from inside barrier to hold prominent position on fence behind leading pair. Left slightly flat footed when pace quickened from 400m, before making good ground in final 200m.
5着MICKEY RICH　　N Callan　　(V)

Commenced well and ridden up to gain prominent position before easing at 750m mark to settle midfield. Asked for effort from 400m and battled away fairly in the straight.
6着LONDON MASTER　　G van Niekerk　　(TT)

One of the slowest into stride and settled third last on fence. Worked home fairly once got clear running. Was checked in the final few strides.
7着SWEETIE BARLEY　　U Rispoli

Commenced fairly before being eased across heels to obtain midfield position. Was under heavy pressure before straightening and worked home fairly to finish midfield.

Away moderately before being eased back to the rear of the field. Was eased slightly around the 350m before maintaining run on the fence but never threatening in the straight.

Jumped very fast before coming across the face of the field to position outside leader. Under pressure upon straightening and weakened out inside final 250m.
10着FOX CHEUNGER　　C Y Ho　　(B1)

Only moderately away before being position one off the fence towards rear of the field. Covered additional ground in middle stages before moved out wide entering straight and only battled to the line.

Commenced fairly and settled on the fence in midfield position. Asked for effort from 500m to hold position in running, hung in slightly in the straight but was never a threat.
12着STAR SUPERIOR　　W M Lai　　(B-)

Commenced fairly from wide barrier before ridden up to go forward but caught in three wide position. Was asked to improve from 450m but weakened out in the straight after a tough run in transit.
