Began OK, pressed forward between horses settling one-back, one-off before getting close to heels 900m and eased. Clear run in straight, picked up speed 250m, ran on strongly to win close home.
2着MALAYAN PEARL　　K C Leung

Began well, ridden along inside leader to 1300m when crossed. Raced outside leader when paced slackened, then taken to rail around turn. Rolled forward 400m, looked winner 200m, run down.
3着CHERYL'S HORSE　　C Reith　　(B)

Hard ridden from widest draw to lead on settling, crossing to rail 1300m and slowed tempo. Kicked clear nearing 1000m, still in front 200m, run down final stages.
4着OCEAN POWER　　C Y Lui　　(B/XB)

Broke well, scrubbed up inside leaders to grab rail but hampered 1300m when pace slowed. Crowded for room turning for home, kept on steadily without looking dangerous.
5着DRAGON PINS　　O Doleuze　　(B)

Began awkwardly, dropping to rear before making ground 3-wide back stretch. Swung wide into straight and finished off nicely.
6着OXFORD CHARLEY　　K Teetan　　(CP/H)

Hampered start, mustered between horses to sit just behind midfield at turn. Kept on steadily in straight to be closest at finish.

Began well, ridden along ahead of midfield close to fence before hampered 1300m. Hampered again 900m. Made ground along fence early in straight before turning one-paced.
8着HEI HEI POSH　　H Bowman　　(B/TT)

Began OK, not rushed, settling towards rear in one-off position. Switched wide entering straight and ran on fairly under hard riding.
9着DRAGON　　J Moreira　　(E)

Steadied shortly after start dropping to near last but away from fence. Inconvenienced 1300m when pace slackened. Very wide in straight, kept on one-paced.
10着GOLDEN SCALPEL　　D Whyte　　(V)

Ridden along early to find cover, cutting in to one-off position behind midfield. Rolled forward 3-wide approaching turn, taken wider in straight, steadied 300m when run closed. No extra.

Outpaced and soon at rear, then hampered 1300m when pace slackened. Hampered again when making ground at turn, but one-paced in straight. (Lame right front)

Began fairly, not pressured, slipping back along rail towards rear. Hampered approaching turn, stayed on fence in straight, one-paced.
13着ROCK THE TREE　　A Suborics

Began awkwardly, ridden to obtain forward position but wide, checked and lost ground 1300m. Raced without cover thereafter, giving ground quickly.

Hampered start, mustered along rail to sit at midfield. Hampered again turning for home losing position, before tiring in straight. Not ridden out final stages.
