Taken to 3-wide towards rear from highest draw. Made run widest approaching home straight. Finished off strongly and dominated final 50M.
2着SECRET OF WINNING　　D Whyte　　(TT)

2-wide ahead of midfield. Took run on rail into final stretch. Kept giving but couldn't match the winner's turn of foot closing stages. All out to hold 2nd.
3着NOBLE DE BEST　　O Doleuze　　(B/TT)

3-wide at midfield. Ridden to keep up home turn. Swung wide and was 3Ls down on straightening. Kicked with the winner but was outpaced passing 200M. Kept on and was just denied for 2nd.
4着NEW KING PRAWN　　K C Leung　　(B-/V1/TT)

With leaders on fence to home straight. Hit front final furlong but failed to repel the front trio final 100M. (Lame left fore).
5着TOUT VA BIEN　　T Angland　　(P-/B2)

Bumped and became badly unbalanced after start. Steadied to 2-wide behind midfield passing 900M. Improved with the field top of home straight but was baulked for run 250M. Resumed and ran on after 100M.

2-wide towards rear to home straight. Made up decent ground late.
7着SPICY SHRIMP　　C Y Ho　　(B/H)

Raced with leading section but was trapped 4-wide without cover to home straight. Shifted in and crowded up runner inside near 200M. Resumed fairly.

Began very awkwardly and made heavy contact with another runner. Soon driven to take up a forward spot in a 2-wide position. Plugged on early home straight and was bumped 200M. No progress thereafter.

Shaken up early and raced 3-wide ahead of midfield to home straight. Closed off fairly overall despite being hampered at 100M.
10着COSMO SUCCESSOR　　M L Yeung　　(B)

Pressed early and was caught 3-wide without cover in the pace group. Hung on top of home straight until severely checked 200M. Failed to recover thereafter.
11着MR SPEEDY　　C W Wong　　(B)

Behind midfield on fence early. Couldn't follow from home turn. Never likely home straight.
12着DARING SPIKIE　　C K Tong　　(H-/B1)

Checked to rear shortly after start. No impression thereafter.
