Took the lead near the Rock and maintained advantage into the home straight. 2Ls in front final 200 M. Kept on gamely and mustered enough in the final stages to hold off a late challenger.
2着MAGIC KING　　D Whyte　　(B/XB)

Raced 3-wide at midfield. Quickened nicely and steadily made up ground in the straight. Just missed catching the winner.
3着FLYING SPRINTER　　B Doyle　　(B2)

Better than midfield. 3Ls off the lead turning in. Kept on well in the straight for a minor placing.
4着JUST RIGHT　　C K Tong　　(SR)

Led early stages. Settled behind the lead 700 M out. Kept on fairly in the straight to make the frame.
5着BELONG TO CASA　　K L Chui　　(TT)

Off slowly and raced in rear section. Closed off strongly and made up good ground in the straight.
6着ASIAN CITRUS　　O Doleuze　　(B/TT)

Taken back on jumping and raced in a rearward position. Near last on straightening and rallied in the straight to be closest at finish.
7着FOREVER SUPPORT　　B Prebble

Raced 2-wide behind the lead. Kept on fairly in the straight but unable to turn up a notch in the closing stages.

Raced on the rails behind midfield. Steadily made up ground after straightening but was held up in traffic in the final 150 M.

Jumped only fairly. Gradually slipped back and trailed field. Last on straightening and made up ground by running past beaten runners.

Niggled along and was no better than midfield. 2-wide making home turn and unable to quicken in the straight.

Blew the start and was ridden along to make up ground. Raced on the fence and was 2 to 3Ls off. Checked off heels when over-racing 600 M out. Hung in badly in the straight and dropped out.

Jumped awkwardly. Kept within 3Ls of the leader but raced wide without cover throughout. Weakened and dropped out after straightening.
