1着GIDDY UP　　A Hamelin　　(H-/TT)

Drifted back to race just worse than midfield away from the rail. Was over 3L from the lead on straightening, shifted wider at the 300m before closing strongly to take lead at the 50m mark & win well.
2着SUPERB KID　　K De Melo

Drifted back to race third last away from the rail. Came wider on the track passing the 600m, continued rearward and over 4L from the lead entering last section before strong late ground down the outside to steal second late.
3着BLUE MARLIN　　H Bentley　　(H)

Raced in midfield away from the rail. Moved wider on the track near the 700m & then forced very wide from the 600m. Was the widest on straightening when only 2.5L from lead, moved to lead near 200m, collared in final 50m.

4着MAGNIFICENT NINE　　Z Purton

Raced just forward of midfield, was checked near the 1100m before racing three wide without cover thereafter. Continued wide around bend, dashed well to take lead momentarily near 225m, battled bravely to finish fourth.
5着KARMA　　M L Yeung　　(TT)

Raced in midfield between rivals in the middle stages & was slightly keen around bend. Eased wider passing the 650m, was just under 2L from the lead entering last section, finished steadily all the way to the line.

6着TALENTS AMBITION　　A Atzeni　　(XB1)

Crowded soon after start and got back to race forth from last along the rail. Continued rearward on straightening, made continual steady ground to be beaten under 2L in eye-catching debut.
7着QUANTUM PATCH　　K Teetan

Raced in midfield away from the rail before shifting down to the rail near the 1000m mark. Came off the rail again near the 600m, finished off steadily between runners all the way to the line to be beaten just over 2L.
8着SINBA　　Y L Chung　　(B/TT)

Drifted back after the start to share last place. Continued last & over 6L from the lead on straightening, came wider on the track before finishing making late ground to halve deficit when finishing midfield.
9着LESLIE　　K C Leung　　(B)

Had no early speed before improving along the rail to race in midfield. Was badly held up along the rail for majority of straight, shifted outwards at the 150m to get clear, finished ok in dying stages but had clear excuse.

Had a nice run 1,1 throughout the middle stages. Didn't have much room in the first half of the straight before weakening in last furlong.

Had a soft run in third on the rail for the majority. Battled on until the furlong mark before weakening late.

Pushed forward after start, raced outside leader for the majority. Was beaten approaching the 200m mark & weakened out late.

Showed customary early speed to lead from gate 12. Was headed in the lead passing the 250m mark & weakened badly in late stages.
14着JOLLY RULER　　L Hewitson　　(H)

Taken back to share last place after beginning from widest gate. Was over 5L from the lead on straightening but did nothing in the straight & weakened to be beaten 9L when finishing last.
