1着HK DRAGON　　Z Purton　　(B/TT)

Restrained well behind and travelled wide without cover, made rapid progress from the 750 metres to take up running 500 metres out, gained some 2L clear into straight, just held on to the line.

2着SPARKY STAR　　J Moreira

Settled in rear of midfield, carried backward to last few at about 600 metres out, renewed effort making final turn and saved ground hugging the rail, ran on well under pressure to be nearest at finish.

3着NIMBLE NIMBUS　　H Bentley　　(CP/XB)

Broke well, took up running narrowly coming onto first bend setting a slow tempo, quickened up the pace from approaching the Rock but headed by eventual winner 500 metres out, found no extra upon straightening.

4着HERCULES　　B Shinn　　(XB/TT)

Began well from the one draw, travelled keenly over 3L back in 6th in the slow tempo, quickened with the pace rounding home bend, switched in for a run shortly after straightening, produced good late impression.

5着E LEGEND　　C L Chau

Began well from the middle draw and soon came to join the leader, taken one-out-one-back for cover early in back straight, came under pressure and went wide turning for home, kept on at the one pace.

Held up one back in 3rd on the rail in the slow tempo, baulked behind race leader rounding home bend, gradually faded under pressure
7着LAPUTA　　K Teetan　　(V/TT)

Settled towards rear in 9th from the widest gate, commenced move inside the 600 metres making headway 4-wide rounding home bend, one-paced under pressure in straight.

8着HANG'S CHOICE　　M L Yeung　　(H/TT)

Soon taken back to midfield, travelled keenly in the slow tempo rounding first bend, drifted back towards rear when pace quickened inside the 800 metres, 3rd last into straight, kept on steadily without quickening.

9着CHARIZARD　　L Ferraris　　(B/TT)

Quickly recovered from moderate start to prominent position, shifted over 2L back in 5th approaching back straight, failed to quicken with pace rounding home bend, produced good late impression closing stages.

10着JOLLY HONOUR　　C Y Ho　　(B/TT)

Driven forward from a wide gate travelling wide without cover in early stages, came forward to dispute lead inside the 1000 metres, soon weakened after straightening.

11着YEE CHEONG WARRIOR　　M F Poon　　(CP/H/XB)

Settled at the back from a wide gate, trailed the field to the 600 metres, widest of all into home straight, made no further impression.

Settled in rear on the rail from a wide gate, came under pressure when dropped to last 600 metres out, weakened further after straightening.
