Waited with towards the rear of the field, saved ground on the fence throughout, picked up well when asked but was held up a bit near 300M, soon renewed his challenge, held by winner final stages.

Sent forward, tracked leader, briefly led inside 250M, kept on steadily towards line but couldn't match finishing pace of first two over final 150M.

Began only fairly, given a waiting ride in the rear 8Ls off the pace, made progress when pulled out wide passing 450M, got up for 4th just in time but well beaten by first three.

Began well from draw 11, eased back to find cover in mid-division, raced wide again making the turn, kept on well in straight, in contention until weakening final 150M.

Settled towards the rear, took time to gather entering straight, stayed on mildly for non-threatening 6th over this shorter trip.
