Settled just worse than midfield, went wide into straight, quickened under pressure to assert authority close to home.

Began moderately, raced freely in first few, took up running from slow pace over halfway out, broke over 1L clear shortly after straightening, swamped by winner late but just hung on for 2nd.

Towards the rear, closed off well final 300M, nearest finish.

Settled around midfield, commenced move rounding home bend, finished off race nicely despite lay in under pressure early in straight.

Broke well, settled in 3rd or 4th on rails, became some 3L back coming out of far side when pace quickened, switched off rails for a run entering straight, fought on steadily without threatening.
