Settled in midfield. Came under pressure after straightening to challenge leaders down centre of track. Fought on under pressure to just get up on line.

Never far off or better than 3 off the rails. Ran on steadily in straight but failed to answer winner's late surge close to home.
3着WIN A DOZEN　　K T Yeung　　(B-/TT)

Began well to lead. Unable to cross until after 1000 M. Held a length's advantage rounding home bend and early in straight. Unable to sustain effort and swamped inside final 150 M.
4着WHIPLASH　　P H Lo

Settled just worse than midfield. Ran on steadily between runners in straight to be nearest at finish.
5着EIGHT PLUS NINE　　Z Purton　　(B)

Settled in midfield. No clear run in straight until after 150 M. Finished off race well.
6着CIRCUIT HERO　　W M Lai　　(B/TT)

Began with others from a wide draw. Travelled wide without cover in prominent position. Kept on steadily without quickening in straight.

Moderate start. Soon settled in better than midfield position. In box seat on heels of leaders turning in. Sustained progress in straight despite a tight run down inside before forced to steady at 100 M. Could be closer.

Began in short reins and soon taken back to rear. Remained there to straight. Kept on well for a nice impression at the finish.

Held rails run in 2nd far side. Found cover approaching home bend. Angled out for a run turning for home but failed to quicken under pressure.

Slightly slow out but soon picked up to last few. Remained in rear of field but produced good late impression inside final 200 M.

Slow out. Gradually joined rear of field. Remained last into straight. Never nearer.

Moderate jump. Settled just better than midfield on rails within 3Ls of pace. Similar turning in but soon dropped out tamely.

Hampered shortly after start. Travelled wide behind midfield to straight. Made no impression down centre of track. (Questioned for poor performance.)

Began with others from widest draw. Remained very wide in midfield down far side. Circled field making home bend. Unable to sustain effort after straightening and dropped out tamely. (Questioned.)
