Jumped well. Raced alongside the leader before taking sole possession of the lead 800 M out. Maintained a clear advantage into home straight and kept on well in the final stages to hold off a challenge. (Questioned.)
2着REGENCY KINGDOM　　K L Chui　　(TT)

Jumped well. Settled on the fence in front of midfield. Gradually edged out for clear running making home turn. Ran on strongly and nearly caught winner.
3着OCEAN PRINCE　　W C Marwing

3-wide and no better than midfield. Widest turning for home and ran on strongly to be closest at finish.
4着INVESTAR　　M Du Plessis　　(B)

Ridden out of the gates from widest draw. 2-wide and no more than 2Ls off the pace in back straight. Closed to within a length of the leader turning for home. Kept on steadily but unable to turn up a notch in the straight.
5着ASALI VICTORY　　Y T Cheng

Jumped well and raced in front. Handed up the lead 800 M out and settled behind the pace. Kept on fairly after straightening but unable to turn up a notch final stages. (Questioned.)
6着K-JACK　　M W Leung　　(TT)

Jumped awkwardly. Failed to muster speed and raced at the rear. Made a ground saving trip around home turn. Ran on fairly and made up some ground in the straight.
7着TOUT VA BIEN　　Z Purton　　(P-/TT)

Jumped awkwardly and was taken back to race at the rear. Took a wide turn home and closed the race off nicely.
8着MARVELLOUS　　B Prebble　　(V/TT)

Settled 2-wide at midfield. Carried wider rounding home turn and ran on without threatening in the straight.
9着RACING SPIRIT　　D Whyte　　(B/TT)

Raced in rear section. Kept on same speed in the straight.
10着EMBRACES　　W M Lai　　(B)

Jumped well but lacked speed and ended up in rear section. Checked badly on two occasions at the turn and near last on straightening. Ran on without quickening.
11着AMNESTY　　J Victoire　　(XB1)

No worse than midfield but was 3-wide without cover back straight. Within 2Ls of the leader 500 M out but remained wide. Unable to quicken on straightening and weakened final 200 M.
12着ICE FIRE　　D Beadman

Behind midfield. Severely checked 500 M out and dropped to the rear. Found nothing thereafter. (Lame next day.)
