Settled in 4th position, 1 off with cover. Lifted well in the final stages to finish over the top of its rivals.
2着DIAGHILEV　　E Saint-Martin　　(B/TT)

Couldn't match the early speed and settled behind midfield on the rails. Struck traffic problems in the straight and was obliged to alter course on a couple of occasions, went to the wire strongly.
3着NOT QUITE PERFECT　　D Whyte　　(TT)

From a wide barrier took up a midfield position on the fence. Ran on well and looked the likely winner only to be collared close to the line.
4着PERFECT ATHLETE　　C W Wong　　(TT)

Stalked the leader along the fence. Hit the lead early in the straight and had every chance tiring on its run short of the post.
5着HEADINGLEY　　K T Yeung　　(B/TT)

Raced behind midfield, 2-wide with cover. Peeled out turning for home and ran on smartly over the latter stages.

Travelled with cover early in a midfield position, 3 deep. Kept on well in the straight despite racing wide and without cover after the 800 M.
