Close up early. Taken back to about 2Ls off the speed coming out of back straight. In box-seat early in straight before pushed his way out for a run over 250 M out. Ran on well alongside runner-up to just prevail narrowly.
2着DIAMOND BRILLIANCE　　H W Lai　　(B)

Settled one-out-one-back in 4th. In similar position but 3rd turning in. Fought on well and quickened alongside winner only to lose out in the bobbing of heads.
3着HE CAN TANGO　　C K Tong　　(B)

Settled towards rear. Shifted out for a run turning for home. Ran on well down centre of straight to snatch 3rd late.
4着ALWAYS GIGGLE　　Y T Cheng　　(B)

3-wide in midfield far side. Took closer order to be 4th around home bend. Lost a bit of position home turn. Ran on steadily from 3Ls down to only lose 3rd late.
5着HIGH POINT　　G Mosse

In rear of midfield most of way to straight. Baulked for a run early on before running on steadily under pressure without threatening inside final 250 M.
6着HONGKONG SUPERSTAR　　O Doleuze　　(B/TT)

Slightly slow out but quickly picked up to forward of midfield far side. Minor interference on home bend and in midfield turning in. Kept on steadily in straight without quickening.
7着SUPERIOR UNIT　　B Prebble

Led by half a length outside the second early. Gave up lead but gained rails run approaching home bend. Renewed effort straightening and hit front over 250 M out. Died on his run and swamped passing 150 M.

Prominent early from poor draw. Worked his way to the front 900 M out and led narrowly around home bend. Headed under pressure about 250 M out and weakened.
9着ULTRA FANTASY　　M Nunes　　(B)

Began fairly from poor draw but caught racing very wide in midfield throughout. Ran home one-paced.
10着WEI HAI INVINCIBLE　　M Du Plessis　　(SR/TT)

Not far off on rails early. Shifted back to rear of midfield before making home bend. One-paced in the run home.

Sluggish start when a bit tight early. Quickly picked up 4-wide to be prominent coming out of back straight. One-back 3-wide rounding home bend. Gradually dropped out of contention after straightening.

Began from poor draw. Travelled wide well back in field and awkwardly at times far side. Similar position turning in. One-paced in straight.

Jumped in air at start missing a couple lengths. Remained in rear to straight. Made no impression in the run home.

Raced well in last few. Dropped out after straightening.
