Got a nice position 1,1. Eased three wide passing the 500m, dashed strongly to lead at 200m before pulling away to win easily.
2着GOLDEN LINK　　K C Leung

Pushed forward from widest gate to race outside the leader. Shared lead near 200m, battled on well to hold second on line but was no match for easy winner.
3着EXUBERANT　　C L Chau　　(B/TT)

Raced in midfield along the rail. Came off the rail near the 400m, finished steadily to hold well beaten third.
4着HERO STAR　　M F Poon　　(TT)

Pushed forward to lead. Joined near the 200m, weakened slightly in late stages, was a length behind second on line.
5着TATTENHAM　　A Atzeni　　(CP1)

Had a nice run on the leaders back throughout. Stayed along the rail in straight but failed to challenge, weakening a few lengths to be beaten nearly 4L in midfield.
6着TELECOM SPEED　　Y L Chung

Raced in midfield away from the rail & galloped between rivals from the 850m. Had clear running on straightening but finished off only moderately, weakening about a length to be beaten 4L into midfield.
7着SPEEDY CHARIOT　　M Chadwick　　(SR-/B1/TT)

Drifted back after first bend to race just worse than midfield between runners. Just under 5L from lead entering last section, moved into clear running on straightening, finished off fairly, holding margin in straight.
8着BRAVO WARRIOR　　B Thompson　　(TT)

Shifted back after the start & raced at the tail. Was last and over 6L form the lead entering last section, passed a couple of weakening rivals in the straight but was never in a threatening position.
9着FALCON COURT　　L Hewitson　　(TT)

Was shifted back behind runners from gate 11 & raced third last along the rail in the middle stages. Was 5.5L from lead entering last section, stayed along the rail in the straight & despite having clear running did little.
10着SCOTCH TYCOON　　L Ferraris　　(B)

Bumped at the start before steadying around first bend & being taken back to second last. Continued rearward, shifted out to be the widest runner on straightening, failed to run on (Blood in trachea & epiglottic entrapment).
11着MOLLY'S WITNESS　　A Hamelin　　(P1/TT)

Bumped at the start, steadied when wide around the first bend, was hampered near 900m mark before continuing to race three wide with cover in midfield. Was the second widest on straightening, weakened to be well beaten.
12着GLORY CLOUD　　H Bentley　　(TT)

Checked when crowded at start, four wide around first bend, improved to midfield when 3 wide without cover. Raced slightly keen in middle stages & hung outwards around bend, was beaten on straightening & weakened to last.
