Raced outside the leader. Engaged in a two-horse battle with the leader all the way down the straight, before proving too strong in final stages to win by a head.
2着WINDCHEATER　　L Ferraris

Pushed forward to lead. Engaged in two horse battle down the straight but was just overcome close to the line to be beaten a head.
3着STRATHPEFFER　　M Chadwick　　(B)

Was caught racing three wide in midfield throughout. Was 3.5L from the lead on straightening, slightly hampered when close to heels passing 400m, before closing strongly in the last furlong to charge to fast finishing 3rd.

4着KING OBERON　　K De Melo　　(H)

Had a nice run in midfield on rail. Was 3L from the lead on straightening where he had clear running before closing steadily all the way to be beaten 2.5L into 4th.
5着SKY TRUST　　B Shinn　　(H/TT)

Got head down just before start & was consequently slow to begin before crossing to rail & improving along the inside to race in midfield. Came away from inside on straightening, shifted wider at 200m & closed well late.
6着GANGNAM STAR　　K Teetan　　(TT)

Raced in midfield away from the rail. Lay outwards around 850m turn & was momentarily wide. Was checked away from heels near the 400m when about 4.5L from lead before closing steadily down the outside to hold midfield finish.
7着GOLDEN DARCI　　H Bowman　　(P/XB)

Raced in midfield away from the rail throughout. Was a touch keen approaching the 850m. Was hampered when close to heels at the 300m mark & threw head before finishing only evenly in last furlong to hold midfield finish.
8着TRAVEL GOLF　　A Hamelin　　(TT)

Steadied from outside gate & taken back to second last. Continued rearward and 7.5L from the lead on straightening before passing a few tiring rivals when making up a few lengths when running onto midfield out wide.

Got back to race worse than midfield away from the rail. Was just under 6L from the lead on straightening, shifted outwards at the 400m to be the widest runner before passing a couple but never getting near the leaders.

Began fairly before mustering speed to improve & race forward, checked at 900m when crossed, raced on leaders back thereafter. Came off the rail on straightening shifted ground near the 400m before weakening in last furlong.

Got a nice position 1,1 after the start. Was ridden along to hold place before straightening, weakened out in last 300m to be beaten over 6L.

Was slightly slow to begin & was then shifted behind runners to race worse than midfield along the rail. Came away from the inside on straightening, was 5.5L from lead entering last section but failed to improve.
13着TELECOM BULLET　　H T Mo

Got back after the start & raced third last along the rail. Was ridden along from the 500m, stayed nearer the inside in the straight but weakened a further few lengths & finished a long second last.
14着FORTUNE COOKIES　　K H Chan　　(B1/TT1)

Had no speed at the start & was hard ridden to hold his position when racing a clear last. Dropped further behind approaching corner, was 13L behind on straightening before weakening further to finished a distant last.
