Pushed forward to lead. Joined & headed in the lead near the 700m, raced second, but only a head behind until digging deep to regain the lead inside the final 75m to hold neck advantage on line.
2着APACHE PASS　　K C Leung　　(BO/XB)

Got position 1,1, but raced very keenly & shifted three wide near the 900m before improving position to take the lead near 700m. Held narrow lead on straightening, rejoined at the 75m & over-powered late to be beaten a neck.
3着SO WE JOY　　C Y Ho　　(H/XB/TT)

Raced in midfield before improving position slightly when racing between runners passing half-way. Straightened about 3L behind, made continual steady ground, just getting his head out for 3rd in a bunch behind the first two.
4着SAVAQUIN　　A Badel　　(P1)

Steadied, shifted down to rail before making up ground along the inside to racing third on rail. Stayed along rail on straightening when under 3L from lead, just caught for third late, finished in a bunch just behind first 2.
5着BERLIN TANGO　　Y L Chung　　(B/H/TT)

Raced second last early before sharing last place from about half-way. Shifted to be the widest on cornering before making steady progress in final furlong to be in a bunch of horses in a line of 5 behind the first two.
6着ALL FOR ST PAUL'S　　M Chadwick　　(B)

Pushed forward & raced outside the leader before being headed & crossed near the 600m & racing third. Couldn't go with the first two who booted well clear soon after straightening, battled hard in final stages, just behind.
7着SPIRITED EXPRESS　　M F Poon　　(B)

Raced wide early before settling third last away from rail, slightly wide with cover back straight, had no cover from the 600m. Finished off steadily to be in a bunch behind first two & not beaten far despite 2nd last.

8着MIGHTY GIANT　　H Bentley　　(B)

Taken back to the tail. Shared last place in middle stages before dropping away from the 550m mark. Weakened badly to be distant last.
