Settled just off the pace on the rail within striking distance, angled out to challenge turning into straight, hit the front 200 metres out, just held off runner-up's late challenge.

2着YO BEAUTY　　A Badel　　(CP/H/TT)

Broke well from a wide gate, ridden along before settling for 6th some 3L back 3-wide without cover, gained slightly closer to 5th rounding home bend, fought on under pressure to just fail to get up on line.

3着SUPER MISSION　　M F Poon　　(H/TT)

Settled in midfield in 7th on the rail, carried slightly backward inside the 600 metres, saved ground turning in, fought on well under pressure to hold place chance inside final 200 metres.

4着ELON　　K Teetan　　(E/P)

Travelled in 8th in rear of midfield, went one of the widest into home straight, ran on steadily down the centre of the track without threatening first three.

5着OUR LUCKY GLORY　　L Hewitson　　(SR)

Crowded at start losing ground, travelled at the back to straight, saved ground turning in, ran on to be nearest at finish.

6着ATULLIBIGEAL　　B Shinn　　(H/XB)

Crowded at start losing ground, soon recovered towards last few, switched to the widest entering home straight, ran on to be nearest at finish.

7着GOODLUCK GOODLUCK　　M Chadwick

Niggled along in first few before traveling keenly, pulled forward to join the leader 850 metres out, hit the front entering straight but unable to sustain effort 200 metres out.

With the leader early, dropped to one-out-one-back position passing the 850 metres, yielded ground on straightening.

Gradually settled in last few from a wide gate, saved ground turning for home, fought on steadily without threatening. (Tactic questioned).

Wide with the leaders early, shifted back for cover just over 2L back in 5th inside the 850 metres, saved ground turning in, weakened inside the 100 metres.
