1着WIDE BLUE YONDER　　B Shinn　　(CP)

Steadied at start & settled just worse than midfield when three deep with cover. Shifted to be the widest runner on cornering, sprinted strongly mid-straight to close to lead at 100m & win well.

2着AMAZING VICTORY　　K Teetan　　(H)

Raced on the leaders back. Shifted outwards passing 350m mark, moved up to take the lead fleetingly near the 150m before being passed by fast closing winner. Held second.
3着PROSECCO　　A Badel

Raced wide early before improving position to get up outside the leader near the 950m. Moved to narrow lead approaching the 300m, headed near the 150m mark before fighting on well to hold third only 1.5L behind.
4着AURORA HERO　　M Chadwick

Had no early speed but improved position along the rail to race in midfield after the first 300m. Stayed close to the rail in straight before closing off steadily all the way to the line to be 4th. Improved effort.
5着TYCOON JEWELLERY　　J Moreira　　(E1/TT1)

Raced in midfield between runners throughout. Was chopped out for clear running near the 325m before again having to be checked away from heels inside the final 125m. Closed again steadily in final stages but had genuine excuse.

Raced outside the leader early before racing 1,1 from the 900m. Continued to be close behind at the 200m mark before giving a length or so in concluding stages.

Crowded at the start & consequently raced near the tail along the inside for the majority. Shifted outwards on straightening when about 4L behind before passing a few rivals late but making no relative headway into margin.

Bumped at the start & then drifted back to race at the tail. Continued a clear last on straightening when just under 8L from the lead before making up a few lengths in late stages when running home along the inside to midfield.
9着BEST FOR YOU　　M F Poon　　(B)

Drifted back after the start & shared second last place when racing between runners in a line of three near the back. Steadied away from heels near the 700m, straightened 6L from the lead before only holding that margin to line.

Drifted back and shared second last place when racing three wide with cover in a line of three near the back. Continued wide around the bend, entered last section just under 6L behind before failing to make any headway.
11着GOLD GOLD BABY　　L Currie　　(B/TT)

Pushed forward to lead. Joined & headed near approaching the 300m before weakening out to be beaten 7L.

Was trapped racing three wide without cover in midfield before getting come cover from the 700m. Continued wide around bend, straightened only 2.5L from lead before emptying out near 200m & weakening late.

Raced 4 wide without cover in midfield before improving position to race three wide without cover outside the leaders from the 700m. Peaked on run at the 250m before weakening out sharply in final stages after wide passage.

Raced in midfield between runners throughout. Was ridden along before straightening, entered last section 5L behind before weakening poorly to long last.
