Drifted back & raced second last on rail. Eased wider passing 500m, straightened 4L from the lead before finishing strongly down the outside to sweep to lead near the 75m mark & win drawing away. Strong staying performance.
2着PYLEDRIVER　　M Dwyer　　(XB)

Had lovely run stalking two co-leaders throughout. Moved wider & moved to lead on straightening, rolled into the rail mid-straight, continued in lead until passed by winner passing 100m mark, well clear of third, big effort.
3着EBAIYRA　　C Soumillon　　(SR)

Raced in midfield away from rail, travelled strongly approaching corner, tracked leading pair on straightening, moved to second at 350m, finished steadily to old third but was no match for the superior stayers in front.
4着COLUMBUS COUNTY　　K Teetan　　(TT)

Drifted back & raced third last away from rail. Was about 4L behind on straightening, finished steadily to well held 4th but didn't having the staying stamina of first two.
5着STAY FOOLISH　　C Y Ho

Pushed forward, raced second before applying mid-race pressure & sharing lead in middle stages. Shared lead on cornering with the runner-up before emptying soon after straightening & weakening to be over 8L behind.
6着MOGUL　　R Moore　　(XB)

Raced in midfield on the rail for the majority. Stayed along inside in straight but weakened poorly to be long third last.
7着BUTTERFIELD　　D Lane　　(TT)

Over-raced in early stages before eventually being steadied & racing at the tail. Never improved & was long second last.
8着RELIABLE TEAM　　K C Leung　　(B)

Obtained easy lead before being pressured mid-race & setting fast mid-race sections. Was beaten before cornering & weakened out dramatically to be distant last.
