Broke well to lead and made all, steadied pace midway down back straight, renewed effort on top of home bend kicking 2L clear into straight, drifted out inside final 150 metres causing interferences, just held on to the line.
2着KING'S CAPITAL　　C L Chau

Settled in last few dropping to last on home bend, quickened well inside final 200 metres to just fail to get up on line.

3着SMOOTHIES　　Z Purton　　(B/TT)

Settled in midfield, commenced move over 500 metres out circling the field 4-wide round the bend, came within 2L of the pace into straight, hampered and badly unbalanced inside final 100 metres. (Blood in trachea)
4着EVERYONE'S DELIGHT　　A Badel　　(V/TT)

Travelled wide around first bend before settling prominently in 3rd or 4th in back straight, ran on to hold every chance in straight, badly hampered inside final 100 metres and checked on the line.
5着ROYAL BOMB　　L Ferraris

Settled just off the pace, mainly in 4th on the rail before improving to 3rd passing the 900 metres, came to challenge under pressure entering straight but could only keep on at the same pace without quickening.

6着INCANTO PREPARED　　V Borges　　(E/TT)

Prominent early, gradually settled in midfield on the rail just over 3L off the pace, saved ground on the rail turning for home, fought on steadily without threatening.

7着SACRED IBIS　　K Teetan　　(XB)

Settled the back from the widest gate, commenced move at the 600 metres travelling wide around the bend and the widest into straight, produced good late impression down the centre of the track.

8着FARSHAD　　C Y Ho　　(CP)

Settled in rear from a wide gate, found nothing under pressure in the run to the line.

9着SMILING CITY　　M F Poon　　(CP/SR)

Pressed forward from a wide gate circling the field to hit the front briefly passing the 1100 metres, settled outside the leader in back straight, dropped away quickly on top of home bend. (Questioned for disappointing performance)
