Travelled mainly in midfield on the rail, commenced move upon straightening, ran on well to hit the front over 150 metres out, held on well.

2着MIGHTY POWER　　Z Purton　　(BO)

Ridden forward to 6th just over 2L off the pace, became 5th rounding home bend, quickened under pressure to hit the front briefly inside the 200 metres while hanging in, kept on well to maintain 2nd placing.
3着SO AWESOME　　J Moreira

Broke well before taken back to just worse than midfield, widest runner turning in, ran on well under pressure down the centre of the track to be nearest at finish.

4着JUDY'S STAR　　A Badel

Began fairly, settled mainly in midfield, made short-lived effort under pressure early in straight, unable to sustain run inside the final 50 metres.

5着ROBOT WARRIOR　　T Piccone　　(V)

Settled in last few, one of the back-markers entering straight, ran home strongly down the centre of the track inside the final 200 metres. (Tactic questioned)
6着EVEN KEEL　　C Wong　　(B/XB)

Settled well behind after beginning from a wide gate, finished off the race well inside the final 200 metres.

Close up, taken one back coming onto home bend, came under pressure 500 metres out holding some chance early in straight, unable to sustain effort inside the final 150 metres. (Questioned for disappointing performance)

Settled about 2L off the pace on the rail in 5th, drifted slightly backward to 6th rounding home bend, did not find much room behind runners after straightening, ran home one-paced.

Close up and wide after beginning from a wide gate, improved to share the lead from 800 metres out, gained narrow advantage under pressure entering straight, but unable to sustain effort inside the final 200 metres.

Stumbled badly at start losing ground, recovered steadily along the rail to reach rear of midfield in joint 9th at the 1000 metres, saved ground turning in, ran on under pressure to come within 2L of pace 200 metres out, no extra.

Pressed forward to lead from the widest gate, obtained rails run coming onto first bend but soon joined on the bend, headed narrowly turning for home and folded up quickly under pressure inside the final 300 metres.
