Jumped fast before coming across face of field to assume lead. Travelled comfortably in middle stage before straightening up 2 lengths clear and never looking like getting run down.
2着RAICHU　　Z Purton　　(TT)

Jumped well and ridden up before being crossed and gaining position on leaders back. Came across heals after straightening and fleetingly looked like a challenger but was no match for winner.
3着THE SHOW　　W M Lai　　(B)

Commenced fast before allowing others to assume lead and before settling in nice position one pair back. Was ridden up again from the 750m as outside challenger improved. Improved from the 400m but was no match for first two.
4着ACTUARIAT　　S Clipperton　　(V/TT)

Jumped fast and was ridden up to come across face of field and sit outside leader. Was asked to improve from 400m to chase break away leader and fought on fairly in the straight.
5着PADDINGTON　　M F Poon　　(TT)

Bumped and inconvenienced shortly after the start before settling in the last three. Was shuffled back to last at the 600m and entered straight in that position before making good late ground in the straight.
6着PEACE ON EARTH　　U Rispoli　　(B/TT)

Eased back after 100m and settled last in middle stages. Ridden up from 600m to improve around field but entered straight the widest on the track before making good late ground.
7着STARLOT　　M Chadwick　　(B)

One of the slowest into stride before taken across the back of the field to fence position. Was eased slightly after the 400m before entering straight up against the fence but only battled away in the run home.
8着THE CHAMP　　G van Niekerk　　(P-/SR2)

Was bumped on jumping and then badly hampered within first 50m before ridden up to hold position worse than midfield. Was again ridden up inside 650m but entered straight well back. Didn't threaten in run to the line.
9着SHOW MISSION　　D Whyte　　(B/TT)

Bumped just after the start before having to ease back to obtain trailing position. Slightly eased around 450m when improving position before pulling out wider in the straight but failing to flatter in the run to the line.
10着SURE SUPREME　　C Murray　　(B)

Bumped on two occasions shortly after start and then eased back to midfield on fence. Stayed close to rail throughout but weakened out in the straight.
11着OTOUTO　　C Wong　　(B)

Moderately away before being hard ridden to obtain position but posted four wide without cover. Covered plenty of additional ground throughout middle stages before understandably weakening out from 450m.

12着FOREVER KINDNESS　　C Schofield　　(B2)

Bumped straight after start before veering sideways and inconveniencing others before settling midfield three wide no cover. Ridden up from 500m to improve but began giving ground from that point.
