Settled down behind midfield, 4Ls off the pace home turn, driven wide to challenge and closed off strongly despite hanging, rattled home late and only a few strides short of catching the winner.

Had a ground saving run along the fence and remained close up behind leaders throughout, every chance over final 300M, just couldn't reel in the leader, lost 2nd late.

Jumped midfield to be 8th on the inside 4Ls on settling, ran on steadily when placed under full pressure and got up for 4th late. Honest effort.
