Bumped on jumping and eased back early to sit towards the rear of the field, towards the rail. Ridden for luck in the straight, and shifted off heels for a run 250m. Good turn of foot from 150m, and in relatively easy.
2着PIKACHU　　K Teetan　　(B)

Dropped back from the wide draw to sit in the last pair, 1 off the fence. Came wider on the turn, and ran solidly until showing good turn of foot over last 100m to steal 2nd on the line.
3着MERION　　B Prebble　　(B)

Crowded on jumping, before settling midfield, 1 off the fence. Raced keenly onto heels 900m. Ran strongly from the 200m, despite hanging in and being difficult to ride out.
4着SIMPLY INVINCIBLE　　T H So　　(B)

Dropped straight to the rear on jumping, holding the rail. Last on the turn, and came wider, before coming widest at 200m for a run. Big run late, and made up ground.
5着LUCKY DOUBLE EIGHT　　C Y Ho

Began awkwardly and eased back early to sit towards the rear of the field, 1 off the fence. Travelled wider in the straight and finished off well late, without threatening a place.

Settled around midfield, 3 wide with cover. Plugged away OK in the straight, without threatening a place.

Pushed forward early from the wide draw, sitting 3 wide with no cover, before pushing forward to share the lead at 1000m. Used up early and dropped out from 200m.

Pushed forward early to set the tempo in front, with a tendency to race slightly keen. Still in front at 150m, before peaking soon after and dropping out.

Bumped on jumping and taken forward to sit forward of midfield, 1 off the fence. Unsettled up the back straight, and checked off heels at 1200m. Didn't have much left in the tank over last 200m.

Bumped on jumping, and didn't get moving early. Stuck mid field 4 wide early, before pushing up to sit behind the leaders, still 3 wide without cover. OK until 150m, before fading late.
