Eased forward from an inside gate to sit midfield, 3 wide with cover. Given a run at the top of the straight, and pushed from the 200m. Slowing slightly late, but still easily in.
2着WINNAM　　G Benoist　　(B/TT)

Dropped back from the jump to sit at the rear of the field, 1 off the fence. Last on the turn, and ran home very strongly with the fastest last 400m, but had to share 2nd place.
2着HAPPILABABY　　C Schofield　　(CP/TT)

Bounded out and began awkwardly before pushing up to sit midfield, on the rail. Held onto the rail in the straight, and kept grinding away late, just held on to share 2nd.
4着TOP ACE　　Z Purton　　(SR)

Eased back early to sit at the rear of the field, 3 wide. Came widest on the turn, and ran on OK to the line, but couldn't stay on with the first 3.
5着GOOD GOOD VIEW　　M L Yeung

Dropped back from the kick to sit at the rear of the field, on the rail. Stayed close to the rail, and checked off heels at 300m. Plugged away OK late, without threatening to place.
6着LAUGH OUT LOUD　　B Prebble　　(B)

Eased back early to be midfield, 4-5 wide with no cover. Moved back to sit further back, but still unable to find cover at 1200m. Led at the 200m, but peaked soon after, and dropped back late.
7着KIRAM　　J Moreira

Dropped back from the wide draw to sit last, one off the fence. Ran on solidly under hands and heels in the straight, without ever threatening.
8着GLACIER BLUE　　K Teetan　　(CP/XB)

Eased out to sit just forward of midfield, on the rail. Came wider on the turn, but only ran to the line fairly.
9着HEROIC GURU　　K C Ng

Pushed forward at all costs early to sit just behind the leader, on the rail. Held up early in the straight, but never ran on when clear, and only battled to the line.

Taken forward from the wide draw to shadow the leader, 1 off the fence. Not vigorously ridden to the line, and went in 1 paced.
11着RED DANCER　　N Rawiller　　(P/TT)

Began well and taken forward early to sit in a handy position, 1 off the fence. Well positioned to strike on the turn, but didn't respond and finished off disappointingly.
12着GIANT TURTLE　　N Callan

Began well, and was pushing forward to a handy position before being checked out of a run 1300m, and settled midfield 1 off the fence. Didn't give a lot in the straight, but did beat a couple home.
13着ROYAL PARTNER　　C Y Ho　　(TT)

Unbalanced on jumping found a position worse than midfield, 3 wide. Never fully settled early, before running onto heels 900m. Came wide on the turn, but already fading when losing a run 300m. Eased late.
14着PEARL FURU　　C K Tong　　(TT1)

Began well and taken forward early to lead. Tried to stoke up on the turn, but no response and dropped out quickly, becoming a speed bump for those behind. Eased for the majority of the straight, beaten 10.8L.
