Always prominent just off pace, moved out to 3-wide striking position 600M, led 150M but have to fend off challenges from sides for a narrow victory.

Settled 3Ls off the pace in about 5th, travelled well, loomed a strong chance 200M, fought on well to line and was one stride short of catching the winner.

Broke well from inside draw, settled beautifully behind the leaders, responded well when guided to clear 250M, looked a chance but was out-battled by first 2 final stages, clear from rest.

Blundered badly on jumping, recovered to race in midfield 4Ls off the pace, saved ground on inside, stayed on moderately for non-threatening 4th.

Guided to a rail position, settled near the rear 6Ls off the pace, stayed on mildly down inside, no threat to first 3.
