Slotted into a midfield spot, 3-4ls away in running line, got race to suit with pace on to early, tracked into race 3 wide turning and let down with a strong dash, kept on task for a narrow but deserved victory.
2着GOOD GOOD VIEW　　K C Ng　　(TT)

Took up a prime position on leaders back, had fair run with decent sectionals, right there and waited for inside run straightening, in a 3 way battle final 300m and was touched off by winner final 50m.
3着GALLANT TRIUMPH　　T Angland　　(BO-/B1/TT)

Restrained form a wide gate, ended up 7ls back at rear, aided by even tempo, still last on fence turning, closed of nicely along inside in straight making many lengths to get up for 3rd.
4着FLYING IBIS　　T Clark　　(XB-/B1/TT)

Away slightly better today, held a spot on rails in midfield, 4ls or so back, fair run to turn, in between horses until 300m when saw some daylight but failed to dash, just stayed on evenly to make frame.
5着STREET CAT　　M L Yeung　　(SW/TT)

Average break, settled behind midfield on rails 5ls off top end, soft run throughout saving ground on bend, angled into clear inside 300m and closed off ok without looking likely.
6着MASTER SOMMELIER　　D Whyte

Began well, took up nice position 1 out 1 back, bit keen first bend, produced 3 wide at 400m and went to front, lost advantage inside 200m and didn't finish off despite being steadied at 100m.
7着CARE FREE PEGASUS　　K C Leung　　(B)

Pushed along early but couldn't muster, settled 5ls back in running line, helped by tempo, back in traffic turning, made steady ground without threatening.
8着FLYING CHAPARRAL　　T H So　　(SR)

Came across to race 3 wide with cover from outside alley, 3-4ls back to turn, lacked turn of foot to factor and plugged on until 200m before dropping off.

Restrained from a tricky gate, raced 8ls back at rear, helped by speed on early, well back to bend, made minor progress in straight.
10着SUN HUSSAR　　A Suborics　　(B1)

Unable to go early pace and raced 3 wide at rear, 6ls from lead, aided by speed but covered extra ground coming 5 wide bend, no extra final 300m.
11着BRIGHT STAR　　C Y Ho　　(B)

Out fairly but pressed on and used a bit to race outside leader, forced to work again rounding bend with a challengers wider, gave in tamely at 300m and dropped right off (see racing incidents)
12着SUPREME GENKI　　M Chadwick　　(B/TT)

Trapped wide from outset from a wide draw, 3 wide without cover in midfield, 3-4ls back on bend, understandably dropped out when workload took effect.

Showed early sped to take lead, set solid tempo early, given attention by outside horse throughout, kept advantage until 350m but was soon passed and weakened right out.

Pressed on when caught wide to take closer order, no better than 3 wide without cover working early, 3ls back beginning to struggle turning, folded to be beaten a long way.
