Began awkwardly then proved difficult to settle in the early stages eventually crossing to the fence in the lead after the 900m. Dug in deep over the final stages to repel a late challenge.
2着TEAM WORK　　P Strydom　　(B)

Posted 3 wide without cover after the 900m, behind midfield. Inclined to lay in early in the straight, however responded well over the final furlong and closed off nicely.
3着PERFECT FIT　　M Chadwick　　(B/TT)

Settled in fourth position, 1 off with cover. Raced tight rounding the home turn, got going late and finished off soundly.
4着WITHINMYHEART　　M L Yeung

Stalked the leader after being crossed passing the 900m. Had every chance after box seating but was swamped late.
5着DOUBLE LUCK　　Z Purton　　(SO)

Worked forward to sit outside the leader. Kept on evenly over the concluding stages.

Mad its run third from the rear 2 wide with cover. Came widest in the straight and ranged up as a place hope before peaking on its run well short of the finish.

Settled in last position on the rail. Looked for runs between horses in the home straight but failed to make any appreciable ground.
8着PERFECT JOY　　Y T Cheng　　(B-)

Settled worse than midfield, on the fence. Stayed to the inside in the final stretch but was never likely.
