Broke well, settled in forward of midfield, saved ground turning for home, straightened in 1L 4th, fought on determinedly to gain upper hand final strides.

Began from a wide draw, crossed to travel in 2L 4th, moved closer to 3rd approaching home bend, hit front under pressure over 200 M out only to be worn down close to home.
3着PRINCE KALAMOUN　　J Winks　　(SW1)

Slightly slow out possibly by design due to a wide draw, soon taken across to rails at the back, trailed the field to straight, lacked room early on, ran on well between runners inside final 200 M to be nearest at finish.
4着THE GOODIES　　C K Tong　　(B/H)

Slightly slow out, settled towards rear, took closer order approaching home turn, sustained headway from 2L 6th into straight to be nearest at finish.
5着MONTE CRISTO　　E Saint-Martin　　(B)

Settled in rear, commenced move turning in, made significant progress down centre of track inside final 250 M to be nearest at finish.
6着LASKER　　D Whyte　　(XB)

Began fairly, soon picked up to prominent one-back position on rails, shifted out to challenge turning in hitting front briefly early in straight, unable to sustain effort and headed 200 M out.
7着ABLE DRAGON　　M Du Plessis

Settled on rails towards rear, saved ground rounding home bend, not much room behind runners early in straight, produced good late impression inside final 200 M.
8着UPSIDE OF ANGER　　Z Purton　　(XB)

Well there, settled in 4th about 2Ls off, became 5th rounding home bend, similar turning in, ran home one-paced under pressure.

Began moderately, settled wide towards the rear, very wide when wider rounding home bend, made no recovery in the run home.

Began well from middle draw, raced wide with leaders early, soon settled in midfield, lost position into straight, gave ground steadily under pressure.

Ridden for pace early, settled for wide run with cover in rear of midfield, 4 wide without cover around home bend, midfield into straight, gradually weakened. (Questioned for poor performance.)
12着GREAT SHOW　　M W Leung　　(B)

Began with others, soon took up running and led to 400 M, dropped out. (Blood in trachea.)
