Began with rest, drove up to land spot on leaders back, travelled well throughout, plenty to offer turning, took gap at 300 M and let down well, held advantage in run to line.
2着OSVALDO　　C K Tong　　(TT)

Taken back from a wide gate, ended up 7Ls away in 2-wide line, pace not ideal and difficult to settle, in traffic turning, dashed sharply at 300 M when run emerged, failed to chase down winner final 50 M.
3着RICE FIELD　　Y T Cheng　　(TT)

Allowed to drift back from awkward alley, raced 5-6Ls back at tail, still well back turning, produced a big finish making many lengths down outside to take placing.
4着MELLIFLUOUS　　J Victoire　　(V-/XB-/H-)

Restrained early, raced 3-wide in last few 8Ls back, had a trail to bend, 4Ls back on turning, made good progress between horses in straight to make frame.
5着CHATER D'CAT　　W C Marwing

Even break, pushed on but posted 3-wide without cover 2Ls back, did too much work to bend, kept coming in straight but early work took effect and emptied final 100 M.
6着FERRO BEAU　　M Du Plessis

No early pace, ended up 8Ls away on rails, pace not ideal to bend, never really saw daylight in straight and was not properly tested.

Well enough to begin, assumed prominent spot 1 out 1 back, had fair run to bend, held up 400 M to 150 M, just held ground when clear.

Fastest out, pressed on to take up running, set even tempo to bend, challenged turning, kept on to 200 M before losing advantage and just held ground thereafter.

Showed good early pace, lead briefly before electing to take trail on leaders back, eased outside leader on bend, challenged for front to 200 M but didn't have extra and faded out.

No early pace, ended up 6Ls back on fence, not helped by pace, 3Ls down when field bunched up approaching turn, limited room to 200 M, lacked a dash when run emerged final furlong.

Began fairly, slotted in to running line 5Ls back, moved 3-wide with cover on circle, shifted wider on turning but flattened at 300 M and lacked required finish late. (Lame next day.)
12着LOCAL POWER　　C W Wong

Out in line, unable to drop in, caught 4-wide 7Ls back early, made a looping run 5-wide without cover on circle, unable to sustain effort and tired last 250 M.
13着KING POWER　　H W Lai

Reasonable jump, posted 4-wide without cover in mid-section, struggling on turn, folded soon after straightening.
