Raced on-speed before being crossed & racing on leaders back. Shuffled further back when pace quickened at 650m, moved away from rail passing 500m before closing strongly in last furlong to strike lead 150m & draw away late.

2着VIRTUS STAR　　K Teetan　　(B-/TT)

Raced worse than midfield on the rail after start. Moved away from rail near 800m before shifting wider when improving passing the 500m. Cornered extremely wide before finishing strongly to move to second in closing stages.

3着WONDERFUL TIGER　　C Schofield　　(H/XB/TT)

Strode to midfield before racing keenly & stumbling near 900m. Shifted 3 wide soon after & improved around field to strike lead passing 650m. Raced over a length clear in lead on straightening until caught inside 150m.
4着JOY MASTER　　Z Purton　　(V/TT)

Obtained good position in midfield away from rail throughout early stages. Shifted three wide with cover at the 700m & improved position to second near the 550m. Straightened 1.5L from lead before finishing evenly late.
5着NITRO EXPRESS　　N Callan　　(B/TT)

Not bustled after start & drifted back to race in final quartet away from the rail. Moved three wide & improved position to midfield passing the 650m. Cornered second widest before finishing off evenly to not be beaten far.

Strode forward from gate 10 to cross to lead. Headed in the lead by improving horse past the 650m, entered last section just over 2L behind before weakening out late to be well beaten.

Improved after start to race outside the leader in early stages. Relegated back to 5th when pace quickened passing the 600m. Began yielding ground passing the 500m & failed to make any headway in straight.

Ridden forward after start to be prominent until getting good position 1,1 after first section. Lost position badly in third section when pace slowed & also steadied for clear run near 550m. Never improved in last section.

Bumped & start before drifting back to third last on rail. Continued along the inside, 7L from lead entering last section before failing to make any noteworthy headway in straight.

10着THE FULL BLOOM　　K C Leung

Fractious in gates & consequently began only fairly before settling at tail of field. Continued near the rear on cornering, before shifting wider in straight but failing to improve in dash to line. Well beaten.
11着ROYAL CHOCOLATE　　A Badel　　(B/XB/TT)

Began fast before being crossed & racing two pairs back on rail. Drifted further back passing 600m when others improved before weakening out further in last section to be a well beaten second last. (Lame next day).
12着DRAGON PRIDE　　V Borges　　(XB-/B)

Steadied after start & shifted back to rear when racing wide. Continued wide & at the back before beginning to yield ground from the 500m. Long last.
