Began well, settled wide in 5th over 3L back, became 6th rounding home bend and 4-wide into straight, quickened well to hit the front 200 metres out only to be headed close to home.

In last few, switched wide into straight, ran on to be nearest at finish.

Began from a wide gate, travelled prominently throughout, came to dispute lead upon straightening, unable to sustain effort inside the final 200 metres.
