Broke well and soon taken back, settled about 3L off the pace in 5th on the rail, commenced move entering home straight, quickened well to take charge 200 metres out.

2着HANG'S DECISION　　W M Lai　　(B/H)

Jumped in air and lost ground at start, settled well behind on the rail, made up a lot of ground inside the final 200 metres to claim distant 2nd.
3着BLOCKER DEE　　C Wong　　(V/TT)

Ridden positively and attempted to make all, led until overhauled 200 metres out.
4着SIXTY SIXTY　　H T Mo　　(H)

Ridden forward early settling one back in 3rd on the rail, became 2nd approaching home straight, soon came to challenge after straightening but unable to make any impression.

Jumped fairly, settled not far off in 4th, became 5th in similar position approaching the 1000 metres, came under pressure rounding home bend, kept on before fading inside the final 200 metres.

Soon dropped behind midfield while racing awkwardly, made steady headway on the outside down far side, gained midfield coming onto home bend, kept on same pace.
