Reserved after the jump, switched off to last 9Ls off the pace in middle stages, got split 400M, closed off strongly to go 2nd near the line.

Pressed forward from draw 13, had uncontested lead, quicken up tempo 600M, kept going well in straight only run down by winner 150M, lost 2nd close home.

Showed speed to be tracking the pace in 3rd, saved ground on the inside, chased evenly final 300M, held by leaders.

Raced handily behind leader, kept chasing leaving the bend but couldn't reel in leader, awkwardly placed 250M, battled away to the finish.

Began fairly, lost ground when bumped, restrained behind midfield, got held up from home turn to early straight, closed off reasonably well over final 300M. Didn't have all favours.
